We need to build communities. Architecture needs to express our
feelings as a community. Flourishment and sustainability equals happiness and a quality of life as people. Architects are trying to make this world a much happier place which means bringing people together through their architecture. As Phillips says Potential solutions exist at the nexus of different ways of viewing a problem and different ways of thinking. Denmark is considered the happiest place on earth and look at their architecture, its beautiful and it collects people, brings them together. Canada is right behind them, second but the USA is pretty far down the charts, thirteenth. The USA needs to really stop trying to build large cities with skyscrapers that go straight and just focus on the people and community they need.
