Reflection
Teaching is nice job. The teacher help the students to build their future.
Grammar is one type from the skills that the teacher should can teach for
the students. The grammar help the students to write correct sentences
form. Without the grammar, the students will cannot improve their writing
skills. The teacher should give the students correct grammar because if she
give them wrong thing, they will follow the wrong thing. In this way the
teacher should be careful when she give grammar lesson. Also, not just in
grammar in also, in vocabulary. The teacher should give the students correct
pronounce. I observe my MST grammar lesson and I saw her how she teach
the students grammar.

When I observe My MST grammar class, I note, my MST follow inductive


approach. There are two kind of approach which are inductive and deductive
approach. Inductive mean the students learn by them self with some of
teacher help, so it students center (Janovsky, 2016). Also, this kind use
bottom up. The other kind which is deductive mean, the teacher teach the
students or the students learn from the teacher(). Moreover, this kink use top
down. My MST used inductive in her class. From her activities I note she use
this approach type. she let the students learn by them self, but she did not
give the correct grammar. I mean by that, when the students answer wrong,
my MST said yes and she follow the students answer. She did not notice this
was wrong grammar. Some of the students note that the teacher give them
wrong thing, but my MST did not accept that the students correct for her
and she told them to follow her answer. Moreover, I saw my MST had some
difficulty with grammar and she usually use inductive method which is made
students learn by them self. My MST felt confuse when the students give her
wrong answer and she did not sure if the student answer was correct or her
answer was correct. The strategy my MST used with the students to teacher

them grammar was different form stage to other stage on the lesson plan.
My MST follow the five stages whish are engagement, building knowledge,
transformation, presentation and reflection. In first stage, my MST was show
the student video about past, present and future perfect. The video had
some example about this topic and it was clear for the students to had idea
about their new grammar lesson. In second stage, my MST give the students
exercise from the book. First, she asked the students to read some
information and example about their grammar lesson from the book. Then,
she answer with the students the exercise. She let them answer one by one
and she let them give the reason for their answer. For example, one student
answer the question which was, " He had visited his grandfather before he
went to school". The answer was had. The students said she use had
because visited word in the pest, so we should use had. In Transformation,
my MST let students answer exercise from the book by them self, but she did
not answer with them when the finish and did not know if they answer
correct or no. In next stage, my MST give the students work sheet and she let
them answer by them self. After that she answer with them. In last stage, my
MST asked the students some questions about the lesson to chick if they
understood or not.

Teach grammar foe the students is important. The teacher should give the
students correct grammar because the students will follow her teaching. I
saw how MST teach the student grammar and which method she use with
them. In future, I will try to give my students clear and correct grammar
because that will help them to improve their writing language. I suggest for
myself to use both of inductive and deductive method in grammar lesson.
Both of them help the students to learn the grammar, but in both way the
teacher should give her attention with the students to make sure they learn
correct thing.
