This lesson practices writing an opinion essay. It teaches them how to write an opinion
with following steps and what is the correct language to use in writing this essay.

Reflection:
In this lesson plan I did writing lesson about opinion essay about electronic
invention and do less physical activity and I includes many activities in
different stages. Also, I used different strategies in this lesson so, in this
reflection I will write about three stages, activities, strategies and how I
taught the lesson plan.
In the first stage, I started the lesson by acting a short scene which demonstrates the main idea of
the scene and the students will write in the sticky note an idea about the scene. After that, I
asked the students to give me their opinion about the scene by asking "What do you think of the
scene?. Actually, this activity went well because I used different than before the students were
active and excited. Also, this activity was engaged them and took clue about our lesson. Because
they used their schema and prior knowledge.
In the second stage, I explained the steps which are the introduction, body and the
conclusion to write the opinion essay by using the Burger way. I used burger to explain the steps
because its easy to remember and they can make connection with writing organization. This way
led the students to recognize easily butter than put the steps on their board and explain it quickly.
Also, gave examples of each part in the essay. Next, I gave the students a reading and they have
to underline the writing steps. For example, the students will underline topic sentence, these
statement, reasons and so on. This will help the students to understand more and recognize the
steps. Then, I checked their answers by letting them to write them on the board.

In the last stage presentation and reflection, I gave the students the topic
and divide the students into two groups agree and disagree and share their
ideas . This strategy is share their ideas in group or pairs help the students
to share the ideas and get more information from other students. Also, help
the students to cooperate with high abilities with

low ability students.

(Gore, 2010). After that, I asked each group draw a plan on the white board
to write their ideas. This plan help the students to organize their writing and
their ideas and do not lose their time . Then, I led the students to start
writing an opinion essay. Finally, when they will finish their writing I gave
each student an evaluation paper. Then, I asked them to exchange their
opinion essay paper with their partner and evaluate the opinion essay writing
by using the evaluation paper. For example, the students will check their
grammar, organization and spelling.
To sum up, is important to recognize our lesson plan because it is important in teaching and help
the teacher to follow the right steps and do not lose her time to remember what is the next
activity. Also, Using strategies in writing lesson can affect students in reading, speaking and
knowledge. So, the teacher can use strategies in different ways because that help the students to
participate and interaction in writing class.
