CONTRACT WITH NATURE

1. I promise to segregate any trash/waste that I generate according to the

appropriate recycling codes.
2. I promise to use basins of water/instead of running water in washing
dishes so that I am conscious of how much water I am actually using.
3. I promise to bring my own silverware instead of using plastic spoons
and forks.
4. I promise to use a reusable water container instead of buying plastic
bottles.
5. I promise to reuse my readings with blank sides for notes and as
scratch paper.
6. I promise to turn off all electric appliances when I am not using them.
7. I promise to refrain from burning any form of waste.
8. I promise to bring shopping bags to grocery stores instead of using
plastic bags that they usually provide.
9. I promise to use public transportation or carpool as often as possible
instead of using our car always to reduce my carbon footprint.
10.
I promise, as a materials engineering student to focus my current
and future studies on the development of renewable and sustainable
energy sources.
