Emily DeWitt Resume

Professional
Interests:
My desire is to complete the Masters program in counseling at West Virginia
University, with a specification in school counseling. I am not opposed to moving
from the area to find a job once I graduate this May, but I would also love to give
back to the communities in which I grew up. I am interested in eventually
becoming licensed and certified in play therapy.
Miscellaneous: I do like to have clear guidelines of what is expected of me in a job or for an

assignment. (Many of these guidelines I am sure will come from lining up my

counseling program with the schools mission and the ASCA national model for
school counseling.) As for special skills, I can play guitar and sing, which I would
love to incorporate into my counseling in some way. I enjoy doing creative/crafty
things, but I also have no problem doing some organizational/administrative tasks
if the situation calls for it. Finally, I really love just getting to interact with people
and talk to them/learn about them.
