The refugee crisis strongly compares to the WWII refugee crisis that involved the Jews. During the Holocaust, the Jews did not threat the United States or any of the citizens. Allowing refugees in while in danger is "morally wrong" to many, says Katelin Hurley.

7801 Titan Drive Antelope Ca, 95843 Governor Jerry Brown c/o State Capital, Suite 1173 Sacramento, Ca 95814 To Whom It May Concern: The worldly crisis in Syria could relate to past major historical events. The Holocaust in Germany was to remove the Jews through concentration camps which also can be known as death camps. While this was happening, the United States did not allow refugees into the country. I am Katelin Hurley reading about the horrors of this situation and studying on why the Uninted States did not allow refugees. I disagree with the current law makers decisions about the refugee crisis. I believe that it is important to help other especially in situations like the Syria crisis. The civil war in Syria can be named one of the worst crisis of this time. Millions have been killed or forced to abondened their homes. It was stated that the full-blown civil war had killed over 220,000 people (The Syria Sun). There is a large involvement with the Americas in this situation. It is said that [Republicans] are scared of the orphans coming to America (Tribune News Service). While this situation is undecided, refugees have no choice but to live in places like Lebanon. The refugee crisis strongly compares to the WWII refugee crisis that involved the Jews. Both situations were caused through disagrement of religion. Many countries did not trust refugees coming in. They did not want danger or attacks on their country if this happened. During the Holocaust, the Jews did not threat the United States. As for the Syrians the govereners did not trust Obamas claim about having the refugeesbeing checked out extremely carefully (Tribune News Service). Both major crisis consisted of the United States not allowing refugees in while in danger. Having the United States governers refusing to accpet Syrian refugees is morally wrong to many (Tribune News Service). I strongly disagree with the law makers decision to not allow refugees in. Syrians deserve freedom at this moment. They did not threat the Uniteed States or any of the citizens. There is no reason to not trust the Syrians as they are in danger. By doing this, the government is somewhat helping Islamic State in this situation (Tribune News Service). The Syria crisis is very violent and should be helped by countries like the United States. This situation relates to the Holocaust in Germany which is also a very tragic time and something no one should experience. Situations like these should not happen again because they are very dangerous and violent for the world. I would like you to support this decision and allow Syrian refugees into the country to save many lives. It would be great for you to support this concept. Thank you for your time.
