Description
Inline measurement of hot black
liquor (lye of hot pulp fiber) and hot
white liquor is a key measuring point
for the pulp and paper industries.
Guangdong Dingfeng previously used
ceramic-lined magnetic flowmeters for
such applications. However, since the
process is not continuous, the violent
temperature change between batches
often causes cracks in the ceramic lining of the meters, resulting in
damage to the flowmeter. This problem was solved by using FLEXIM's
clamp-on ultrasonic flow measurement system, which measures
accurately and maintenance-free.
