    The Reems Creek Fire Department responded to a call about a lost hiker on the Mountain to Sea Trail near Craggy Gardens Picnic Area. Two search teams were deployed and located the hiker, who required paramedic assistance. The injured hiker was carried out on a stokes litter and transported to Mission Hospital for treatment. A total of 4 apparatus and 10 personnel responded from Reems Creek Fire Department.

    At13:45hoursEOCDispatchedReemsCreekFiretosearchforanOverdueHiker,a3rdpartycallfromafriendstatesshe
    wasattheSnowBallFireTowerparkinglotnearCraggyGardensPicnicArea,friendstatespatienthasamedicalcondition
    andsheisafraidsheneedshelponthetrail.Novoicecontactwiththesubjectcouldbeobtainedviacellphone.
    ReemsCreekStationResponded1410asaParamedicUnit,andSquad14asaRescueUnit,Chief14Respondedfor
    Command.Station17alsorespondedRescue17.
    At14:07hours1410(ParamedicUnit)arrivedatSnowballfiretowerparkingareaandlocatedthesubject'scar.WhiteJeep
    Liberty.Afterspeakingwiththe3rdpartycalleritwasfeltshewashikingtheMountaintoSeaTrail.Chief14Established
    Command.
    2SearchCrewswereputinthewoodsatdifferentLocations,ParamedicSimsandCicillianweresentinatSnowballFireTire
    ParkingLot,andtraveledSouthontheMountaintoSeaTrail.CaptainHyderandCaptinDorseyfromRescue17wasplacedin
    thetrailatPotatoFieldGapandassignedtohastysearchNorthtoattempttolocate.
    At14:24hoursRescue17CrewadvisedtheyhadfoundthemissinghikerandthattheyneededParamedicAssistanceASAP.
    ANPSRangerwasalsosearchingthetrailandwasdivertedtotheirlocation.ParamedicSimsandCicillianwerealsodiverted
    tothelocatedhiker.
    Rescue17crewbriefedonsceneParkRangerofthesituationthatwasfound.Astokesrescuelitterwasusedtocarrythe
    injuredhikerfromthewoods,shewasTransportedviaReemsCreekEMStoMissionHospitalforTreatment.
    Squad14andRescue17releasedtoreturntoservice,Chief14remainedonsceneforwrittenstatementreleasestoNPS.
    Station14dispatchedreferencesearch/possibleseizures.SeePCRforpt.care.
