I think the best thing is read through the specification so you know you are covering all the correct content. Then start to go over
key studies and then learn in detail. Once you have the detail and are confident in the content then start to summarise. Use
flashcards, colours, re-write notes - whatever works for you. Use past papers to see where your weaknesses are and work on them.
Make sure you fully apply evaluation points too - with detail and cover a range of evaluation points. For a 12 mark describe and
evaluate question (6 for describe and 6 for evaluate), use at least 3 evaluation points which are expanded fully.
Remember GRAVE for...
G = Generalisability
R = Reliability
A = Application to society (benefits of studies etc.)
V = Validity
E = Ethics
When doing grave you can also use DRIP once you get on to Ethics
D- deception
R- right to withdraw
I -Informed consent
P- protection from psychological or physical harm
