Intern
As an intern, I was responsible for assisting the doctor with exams, surgeries, blood draws, and catheter
placements. Also giving vaccines, monitoring animals under anesthesia, wrapping and autoclaving surgical
packs, and filling and giving medications.
Other duties included running in house lab work including intestinal parasite checks, heartworm tests, urine
analysis, ear cytologies, skin scrapes, total health profiles, and pre-anesthetic labs.
