UCLA has a variety of over 1,000 clubs and social organizations. It is a mosaic

Chemistry with lab (2 semesters)

Dental schools also require applicants to take the DAT (Dental Aptitude Test)

The DDS Program

UCLA also has a 4 year Doctor of Dental
Surgery (DDS) Program, along with a fully
integrated 2 year Professional Program for
International Dentists (PPID). Postgraduate
training includes specializations, such as
orthodontics, prosthodontics, and
endodontics.

Number of years
To obtain a degree in dentistry
you can take:
4 years of undergrad.
4 years of dental school
For specializations, it will take an extra:
2 years for orthodontics (10 yrs total)
4 years for oral surgeon (12 yrs total)

Interest

What interests me most?

I think that the campus is very
beautiful. I like how it is very spread out and
spacious.I also like the extracurricular classes
and the fact that it is in Los Angeles.

The most surprising or interesting thing I have
learned about my research is the job outlook.
Orthodontics and dentistry in general is very
competitive. The average annual growth
outlook for dentists is .41%, and for
orthodontists,it is so small that it is considered
a growth of 0.00%.
