DAY 1 - Strong Tower at Washington Park was started out of

Common Ground Ministry as a church to reach and disciple
adults in the Washington Park area of west Montgomery. In 2015
Strong Tower united with Montgomery Baptist Association and
purchased land a few blocks west of their current meeting
location. Pray for Pastor Terrence Jones and his team of leaders
as they seek partners and raise support for their first building
across from Gibbs Village. Pray that they will continue to have
impact for the Kingdom as they grow disciples of Jesus.

DAY 2 - The overwhelming majority of the

unreached people of Greater Montgomery live in multi-family
housing across our city. Pray for Alan Cross, our multi-housing
and missional strategist, and our churches that have already
shown interest in engaging in this kind of ministry. Pray that
God would impress upon the hearts of others to undertake the
challenge of reaching into these multi-housing communities and
meeting these people on their turf.

DAY 4 - Our work among the Korean population has experienced

Church at Pike Road in 2014. In 2015 the location changed from

Fairfield Inn and Suites to rented space in a shopping center on
Chantilly Parkway. Recently they have been very active in
assisting in disaster recovery for the residents of Pike Road
Village, a mobile home park on Troy Highway. As they enlarge
their worship space and provide for children and preschool, pray
that they will retain their vision of reaching the unchurched for
Christ.

numerous challenges across the past ten years. Now God has blessed
us with a new church planter. Pastor Keonki Sohn, an associate
pastor from the largest Korean Southern Baptist Church in the
southeast, will be moving to Montgomery in July and will launch a
new Korean Baptist Church in September. They are currently having
weekly mid-week meetings at Vaughn Forest. Pray for Pastor Sohn,
his wife, and for this brand new Korean church plant.

DAY 5 - Engaged Christian Church was birthed out of a vision

DAY 6 - The Mixtec people from Southern Mexico do not speak

God gave to Pastor Paul Gourdine. They began meeting in My

Place Restaurant and currently meet in the Seventh Day Adventist
church on Atlanta Highway, celebrating their third anniversary
just a few weeks ago. Pray for Engaged to remain focused on
making disciples of Jesus as they seek a more permanent location
for worship and ministry. MBA is grateful to allow them to
utilize our building for mid-week meetings.

Spanish or English very well. In fact, they speak a language that has 4050 languages/dialects under the covering of Mixtec. According to the
International Mission Board, they are the most unreached, unengaged
people group in the Americas. Why should that concern us? Because
over 2000 live in the Montgomery area. Pray for the Mixtec Task Force
as they make plans to start a church and build relationships with this
people group.

DAY 7 - Montgomery Baptist Association has five cooperative ministries that our churches support through financial donations,
volunteers and other resources. Pray for these ministries, directors and volunteers as they continue to share the gospel with
wit every
person they meet: Baptist Family Resource and Counseling Ministry (Dr. Kline Johnson), Conversational English School (Susan West),
W
Forest Park Ministry Center (Donna McCullough), Mixtec Outreach (Alan Cross) and Samaritan Inn Ministry (Debbie Jones).
