JUNE 26th Le Trec: Run on our normal rally day but


will be a Le Trec competition. It was very popular last
year. Jennie G needs some helpers with this - please
let her know if you can help so helping times an be
scheduled around riding - reduced competitor fees for
volunteers.
TTT HORSE TRAILS 14th & 15th May 2016 Oxley
Huge shout out to all our riders from Alpine who did
such a great job at TTT horse trails!
Congratulations to TEAM MOUNTAIN WOMEN made
up of - Leonie Roper (individual 4th place L4), Taritta
Hutton (individual 2nd place L3), Libby Garoni and
Eleanor Robinson whose team came 6th overall - this is
a really great achievement - well done!!! Also well done
to Alpines 2nd team of Annette Thomson, Kerry Mapley,
Bec Feltrin and Lou Cowden - good on all of you!!!

ROUND YARD Plans are progressing for the purchase and
installation of a round yard at Pioneer Park. Plans are
currently with Alpine Shire who will approve a position
for installation and quotes are being finalised - this will
be a great addition to the horse facilities at the park!

ALPINE EQUINE EXTRAVAGANZA 7-8 October:


Plans are coming together for what is set to be a really
great horsey weekend in the Alpine Area!!!! Get behind
this event so we can showcase what a wonderful club,
grounds and horse community we have in the NE.
Events on the program so far includes activities and
demonstrations like:

Trivia night

showjumping

dressage / to music

Veterinary / dental / health / acupuncture

Navigational Ride
Entertainment and catering!
This event is a first for our club and region and is set to
be a fun - informative horsey weekend with something
to offer all horse interests!

Dates for that are locked in for the AEE are from
7-9th October. If members could please keep these
dates free to assist over this time. All proceeds will be
going towards our proposed new storage shed. We are
still open to trade stall operators and other relevant
people - so if you know anyone who would like to be
involved - please let Jennie Gilliver know.
Jennie G will be after willing helpers able to commit
to taking on various roles. She will be sending out a
separate email about the progress and seeking offers
of support. There will be lots of emails happening.
We are looking for connections for the donation of
products for show bags that we can give out to rider
entrants - There would be approx 120 show-bags to
make up. Things like pens to vouchers to something
for the horse or rider, or perhaps a bar of nice soap. Do
any of our members have any skills they can offer for
the raffle??
