What have I done?

In my work I have taken a picture of the texture and lines in a

piece of wood. When I took the picture I had it in colour and
as close as I could before it blurred. Next I used photoshop to
turn it to black and white and I then cropped it down to a
certain are to make it abstract.

Do I like what Ive done?

I like the image I have because it has a depth of field and it

portrays what I wanted it to. I would make the front of the
shot focused as well.

The theme to my work is abstract landscape and is inspired by

the work of minor white. The techniques used are using
photoshop to convert it to black and white and cropping the
image to make it abstract.
