Removal

Raise the cab.

WARNING
Make sure that the parking brake has been applied
and that neutral gear is selected.

Remove all electrical power by switching off the main
switch. Then disconnect the batterys negative pole.

Clean the contact surfaces on the JAK unit and on the
new control valves. Blow clean with compressed air.

WARNING
Use suitable protective equipment.

Installation

Lubricate the control valves with engine oil and insert
them.

Check the rocker cover gasket and replace as necessary.

Fit the rocker cover. Torque tighten in accordance with
Function Group 20, Information type Specifications,
Specifications.

Install the separator. Check the gasket and replace as

necessary.

Connect the negative cable and switch on the main
electrical power.

Perform a function check and check for possible leakage.
Remove any fault codes.

WARNING
Make sure the parking brake has been applied and
that neutral is selected when starting the engine with
the cab raised.

Lower the cab.
