Dear Sirs,

As I stated in September, I would appreciate your consideration for the position of Fire Chief. While
I am aware of the politics involved with such an appointment, I feel that I have the unique
combination of education, experience and the ability to implement ideas that will move the
department forward.

but also incorporated those improvements into the Mayor's vision for the city.
