Sehnsen /elevanja COMBINING MORE THAN 125 YEARS OF BRAKING EXPERIENCE Johnson Industries Ltd., manufacturers of heavy duty industrial disc brakes and storm brakes, combined forces in March 1993 with the Elevanja electric brake company in the UK. In 1999 a brake distribution and service facility was established in Toronto to service the industrial markets in eastem Can- ada and the USA. In 2005, Johnson Industries moved to a new 5,600 sq.m. manufacturing, service and distribution facility in Delta. Johnson's hydraulic, pneumatic, spring-set and manual caliper brakes and brake systems are used worldwide on hoists, drawworks, conveyors, propul- sion systems, grinding mills and other types of rotating equipment, Their static and dynamic storm brakes and systems include automatic and manual rail clamps, rail brakes, wheel clamps and wheel brakes for cranes, stacker- reclaimers, ship loaders/unloaders, conveyor trippers and other types of rail mounted equipment. Elevanja's electro-magnetic and electro-hydraulic thruster drum and disc brakes are in service around the world on cranes, hoists and other materials handling and power transmission equipment. Their products and know-how have long been the accepted technical and quality standard in the UK for nu- clear, mining, petro-chemical, steelworks, and general industry. Johnson and Elevanja now combine more than a hundred and twenty-five years of solid braking experience and now serve the manufacturers and end- users of all types of industrial equipment, Their products and markets are fully complementary and the alliance of the two companies enables them to offer and support a complete range of braking products and integrated brake systems around the globe. 2008/06/30 DESIGNERS and MANUFACTURERS of QUALITY EQUIPMENT.
