Ingrate
Dictionary meaning- an ungrateful person.
My meaning- selfish person

I could see buzzards circling high in the distance, which reminded me of that ingrate Buster.
Why it matters?- It's important to use a wide of vocabulary, so I can describes things with more than one word to its meaning.
Question- Why was Buster such an ingrate?

Dictionary Definition- Banal- so lacking in originality as to be obvious and boring.
My meaning- lack of originality

Why it matters- Some people dont want their profiles to be boring.

Dictionary Definition- warn or reprimand someone firmly.
My meaning- to reprove or scold
Quote from Sherry Turkle Alone Together- Pg. 171 His friends admonish him, but then several admit to the same behavior.
Why it matters - because texting while driving or while busy with another person is rude and not ok.
Question- Why do people criticize kids staring at their phone all day, when most adults do it also?

Dictionary Meaning- weakened by old age; feeble; infirm and worn out by long use.
My meaning- worn out and impaired by use/wear

Why it matters- it was important in the beginning of book.
Question- Will the school continue using old books?

Why it matters- In this book it matters because kids are yearning for technology.
Question- Why do most people in general need to keep technology around them, when they can explore outside in real world?

My meaning- reaching successful status
