What you will learn
This class is comprised of 8.11 materials but is, however, run on a 9.0 environment. While the environment is 9.0, the
course is still 8.11. 9.0 Capital Asset Management features are not part of this 8.11 class.
Capital Asset Management (CAM) provides organizations the ability to maintain and service equipment, reduce down
time and repair costs, increase productivity, and improve product quality. CAM enables you to perform the right mix of
reactive, preventive, and predictive maintenance which enables equipment reliability to be maintained at the lowest
possible costs.
This five-day course consists of hands-on instruction on managing and maintaining assets. Students will learn how to
setup and utilize all of the CAM features. The students will also gain overview information on complementary products
such as: Condition-Based Maintenance, Resource Assignments, Equipment Cost Analysis, and Solution Advisor.
