I feel there are many issues that relate to what education lacks of proper funding
for public schools, poverty levels, gender, racial and ethical family origin from unequal
and social classroom settings. When it comes to equalities through education our children
receive through funds and poverty sequences comes with a price level towards how much
funds are needed. When budgets get cut forms different issues relating to schools because
of the total staff that is needed to teach, and resources lessen for student learnings, and
less services within their computer systems lack forms of what they need for every
student. These levels also overcome education in several ways with affects of lesser
influenced forms because of lack of areas and no access within good educational means.
According to our text, Since 1945 education expenditures have represented the fastest
growing area of public spending. For each country in the organization for economic cooperation and development, education spending has absorbed, on average, 10% to 12& of
total public expenditures and 6% of its gross domestic product (GDP) (Theodoulou &
Kofinis, 2012).
In addition, our realms of education come with many issues on a continuous base.
Education reforms come with policies within theories that do or do not work with all
people alike. These educations are enacted from public belief through competitiveness of
US not receiving good education. The demand for reform in the United States is fueled
by the belief that U.S. education is in a state of problems arising. Many policy actors,
educational specialists, and members of the public argue that the school system is failing:
It is producing workers who cannot solve problems or compete in a competitive global
economy (Theodoulou & Kofinis, 2012).

Through time in history numbers of reform was put in action in closing gaps, and
these reforms serve in eliminating a few issues without these problems making sense and
mattering at all. I also feel there are many in equalities existing within the educational
systems in effectively eradicating issues in addressing in inequality within our education
system that should five focus to ensure the entire schools in receiving evenhanded funds
for reassuring that our children receive good education for moving up to higher grades.
It seems by schools being in low income areas receiving less funding than those in higher
income areas seem more opened and active in contributing with funding help from other
sources.
With proper funding, schools would be able to be in awesome locations with
educated instructors who come with more qualified instructions they provide to every
student. When doing so, cause for smarter and more confident students who are more
challenged with more educated courses that helps them get ready for college based on
merits with achievements allowing the improvement towards a more opened social life
status. What I feel changed even more was how our federal government focuses on
making sure all individuals receive good education. Even though several programs do not
come with success stories all the time, there is still room for improvement. There was
another policy in 2001, No child left behind act that was geared in closing gaps within
our system and providing all people giving rights to improve their education.
There are also funding that ensures good education giving to all people no matter
what there living or financial situation might be. In addition, I feel throughout these flaws
of act became matters of keeping these funds through all means than to improve our
educational system. In different forms, issues were created as they came to a resolved

closing with one anther. Through other researches, like the Obama organization started
taking further steps to address inequalities of education through secondary and
elementary education acts. These blueprints build on the significant reforms already
made in response to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 around four
areas: Improving teacher and principal effectiveness; providing information to families to
help them evaluate and improve their children's schools; Implementing college- and
career-ready standards; and Improving student learning and achievement in America's
lowest-performing schools by providing intensive support and effective interventions
(Department of Education, 2010).
When I see programs like this, I think of my son who will be graduating 2 years
from now and we wish to continue to provide him with the best education possible so he
will have a good educated mind that will carry him through the rest of his life. It was not
until I read our textbook and assignment this week, I was unaware of the length of
education reforms and how far they came in growth through number of years past. I
realized through the years how much disparity came into play until I started volunteering
for a private school in Philadelphia. The owner of the school had death of her son who
moved her to open her own business school for dropout youth and summer camp for
young children. She had hired her family who was qualified to do certain jobs within the
school and the school stayed clean because of the excellent help from maintenance and us
coworkers working as a team. She had help from the government funding of getting
grants and other assts to keep his business running. She provided educational videos, a
library for the youths from some of her own money, with educational books and

computer games with many school supplies she provided for the entire school. I was
amazed at her work and the school did very well for over 10 years.
