State Park Field Trip

(with Mr. Demuth’s room)

*Tuesday, May 25th, 8:45 –3:00

*Pack a lunch
*Wear appropriate clothing (tennis or hiking shoes encouraged!)
*Sun/bug lotion encouraged! Remember to spray bug spray around ankles
and legs to help prevent wood ticks.
*PARENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
We would like to break the kids up into smaller groups and play outdoor
games. If you can volunteer to help either chaperone or run a game it’d be
greatly appreciated. Please let me know as soon as possible. (218)998-

*Itinerary:
1. Otter Garden – check out our plants and light weeding
2. Lunch at Maplewood State Park
3. Hike to top of Halloway Hill
4. Outdoor Games
5. Woodland Walk

*Should there be inclement weather, our field trip will be cancelled.

However, your child will still need to bring a cold lunch that day!
