Is this activity completed or ongoing?

I have completed this activity concerning CAS, however the activity will continue
throughout the school year.
Activity Reflection: Comment only on those learning outcomes listed below that
are relevant to this activity.
Singing has allowed me to undertake a new challenge, although Ive always
enjoyed singing I had never had formal lessons or been particularly committed to
practicing so starting lessons encouraged me to become more invested in the
activity. The largest challenge throughout has been the occasional performances,
as I get incredibly nervous. Although I still get nervous, without having
participated in the activity I wouldnt have exposed myself to that experience and
started tackling that fear.
Perseverance and commitment are necessary elements of learning a musical
instrument, as without regular practice no progress can be made. As my activity
has spanned over multiple years now I think that its clear that I have been
committed to it and that I am continuing to persevere through the challenges that
it presents.
It was not included in my activity proposal but I feel that I have also grown in my
ability to work in others due to the number of pieces that I have sung harmonies
for and my participation in choir.
For the new skills that I have developed, Ill look the goals that I set myself at the
beginning of the activity and see if I have achieved these goals:
Improve pitch and rhythm: my vocal range has increased dramatically
because of my lessons and I can now comfortably sing most
contemporary pieces, my rhythm although improved is still not excellent, I
find that I have to listen to a piece multiple times before nailing the rhythm
Read music: I am now able to read music in a basic sense, my sense of
rhythm (or lack thereof) is sometimes a bit of an issue. Singing has also
made me interested in playing a bit of piano so I have been experimenting
with basic chords and a few simple pieces.

Sing a piece after a few readings: I am now able to do this! This is

excellent as it means that I can sing a larger variety of pieces.
Perform in front of a small audience: I am able to perform in front of a
small audience, however, once that audience gets too large I still get
nervous. So, this is a work in progress.
