INT. LOCKER ROOM - DAY

A PATHOLOGIST - Sinatra (25, male) - is putting on his

regular clothes. Getting rid of all the blood and death when
he receives a text message. This completely ruins his mood.
There a nude magazines hanging around the locker room.
He doesnt believe it at first but comes to term with
whatever the demands were that he read.
He stares at himself in the mirror, with a cigarette hanging
out of his mouth. He keeps staring for an extreme amount of
time then exits.

INT. MORGUE HALLWAY - DAY

A TRAY with cutlery is descending down the Morgues hallway,

passing dead bodies and cutlery of all types. TRAY POV.

Sinatra now with his dead father on the gurney. Sinatra

sighs, then gets ready for the autopsy.
SINATRA
Long time no speak, Dad.
Sinatra whips out some cutlery to perform his autopsy.
SINATRAS FATHER (V.O.)
Look Son, I can talk!
Sinatra is speechless. SinatraS FATHER who is supposed to be
deceased is talking to him.
SINATRA
Definitely seeing things...
He covers his fathers mouth, his words come out MUFFLED.
SINATRAS FATHER
(Muffled)
Im sorry for kicking you out.
The father gets a bit aggravated and bites down on his sons
hand. Sinatra throws his fathers covers away to continue the
autopsy.

2.

SINATRAS FATHER (CONTD)

Cover me up its getting pretty
chilly and if that night-maid is
still around I wont look too
impressive...
Sinatra is wigging out from his fathers bite mark.
SINATRAS FATHER (CONTD)
(Looks down at his crotch)
...if you catch my drift.
SINATRAS FATHER (CONTD)
Come on. This is your last 20
minutes with me, boy. You not going
to make amends with all that
happened between us?
SINATRA
Remember the last thing I asked
you?
Sinatras FATHER shakes his head.
SINATRA (CONTD)
Why was I born?
SINATRAS FATHER
Oh, boy. The moment of truth
(Sighs)
SINATRAs father purposely doesnt make eye contact.
SINATRAS FATHER (CONTD)
To save a failed marriage.
This just entirely makes matters worse for Sinatra as he
stands there, battling his emotions with awkwardness and
anger.
SINATRA
Youre a bastard.
SINATRAS FATHER
All I wanted for you is to become a
doctor. Not someone who fondles
with bodies all day and night. Lord
knows why you wanted to perform on
me, creep.
(Beat)
Sinatra ignores his cruel comments

3.

SINATRAS FATHER (CONTD)

Hows that therapy going?
(Beat)
SINATRA
You know what? My therapist told me
to reconnect with you... guess
what?
He opens him up from the rib cage, interrupting his father as
he was about to say what?.
SINATRA (CONTD)
Oh boy, am I ever!
His deceased father is screaming in pain. After Sinatra is
done with his job he pops his father on a gurney.

INT. FUNERAL HOME - NIGHT

5
The Funeral Home is a lodge like home with floorboards that
creak. There are paintings on the walls symbolizing life
and people, pictures of people gathering for something
special, etc etc.
Sinatra enters, looking for the mortician. He hears a certain
repeating sound, he starts searching for it grunting becomes
clearer, from a man. Sinatra approaches the door from where
the sound comes from, he opens it to find the undertaker MCCARB (25, British Male) - dancing with the cadaver.
Sinatra falls down in shock and worry for his fathers body.
MCCARB sees him, halts the dead body and himself steady.
MCCARB
I can explain.
He looks the cadaver in the eyes.
MCCARB (CONTD)
No I cant.
He drops the dead body.

4.

SINATRA
Im here to deliver my fa-... Are
we going to talk about what just
happened? Or...
MCCARB
Oh boy, do I have some explaining
to do.
(Beat)
Coffee or tea?
6

INT. FUNERAL HOME - NIGHT

MCCARB and Sinatra sit at a coffee table going over the
events that had just occurred.

SINATRA
Its... understandable. How long
were you two married?
THE MCCARB
15 years. Till death do us apart.
Im quite a romantic.
SINATRA
Cancers a bitch.
MCCARB
As you can see love comes in many
different forms and shapes. What
brought you here today, my friend?
SINATRA
Making sure the old man gets to his
resting place safely.
(Beat)
You dont by any chance... you
know? Do it with them, do you?
Sinatra hints at him having intercourse with dead bodies with
his fingers and at the coffins.
MCCARB
Yes, yes. Im glad to tell you, not
many homo-necrophilic exist...
fortunately.
(Beat)
As long as you dont have any dead
female relatives we should be cool.
SINATRA
Do you at all feel a connection
when you... You dont think I
could... No. No.

5.
SINATRA (CONT'D)
I refuse to have intercourse with
him to gain a connection. Its
absurd!

MCCARB is extremely disgusted by this.

MCCARB
Of course its absurd, darling.
Its almost like seeding life into
nothingness. But Id advice casual
necrophilia not incestuous
necrophilia, that would be crossing
the line.
(Beat)
SINATRA
Could I be alone with him?
McCarb squints, trying to figure out if Sinatra is hinting at
what he thinks he is hinting at.
I need to have one last goodbye to
him. Just a few minutes, please.
Sinatra looks over to his fathers coffin.
MCCARB
See, that is crossing the line. Im
not your dead-body-sugar-daddy,
okay, or one your therapist. So I
bid you a farewell and have to ask
you to leave.
SINATRA
For a fact, my therapist told me it
was either reconnect with him or
pick up and get a change of scene.
Im thinking France...
Sinatra stands and exits the Funeral Home to start his new
life.
