An adverb to situate actions in time.


It is used in sentences with if.
Time reference (that time, or at that time).
It can be replaced by many synonyms.
Examples:
Clothes were so much cheaper back then.
"Not for me," Carmen said instantly, and
then blushed.
If you wake late, then you might skip
breakfast.
My then maid was not as good as the new
one.

THAN

A conjunction used to make comparisons.


Examples:
Maria is much faster than Bianca.
Pedro is much slower than Sergio.
Nothing is more important than health.
My brother is two years older than I am.

I chose to use this genre because today, many people
tend to confuse in using then rather than than, or vice
versa. They look and sound alike, but they are completely
different. This content is relevant to review because its
important to identify where to use which and to learn for its
use in future cases, such as for writing. Its important to
know how to talk because it would help and define you how
much knowledge you have. Learning this will help you
increase your vocabulary.
