Addiction to Paracetamol
Paracetamol is a type of medicine that the users can buy it at the drugstores.
Even though, the paracetamol are safe medicine to use when your body feel hurt, or
pain. The doctors still not allow the user to take in more than four grams of the
paracetamol per day because it will increase the amount of toxic in the liver call
hepatotoxicity Effect of the paracetamol are acute liver failure. Acute liver failure

happen with the people that are addicted to the alcohol, liver disease because the
amount of toxic metabolite in their stomach are produced differently from other
people. Which are more dangerous to take in four grams of paracetamol per day. So,
they are not allowed to use the paracetamol. Normal people that dont have a problem
with their liver will produce the toxic metabolic normally to metabolism the food or
any chemical that you take in but it can still cause the acute liver after use the
paracetamol for a long period of time or overdose. To prevent this from happen,
person must read the medicine labels, and not use it more than five days.
The person also not use other type of medicine that also contain the high amount of
toxic like paracetamol for long period of times. As well as see the doctor if you dont
get well, know the exact effect and cause of the medicine before you take in and ask
the doctor for the prescription (Sukka, 2010).
Rebound Headaches
Rebound headaches is a symptom that makes the people feel headache again
and again from the medicine that contains caffeine. Some people that can be affected
by the rebound headaches such as the people that have brain surgery, migraines, etc.
The rebound headaches wont happen to the people who never have headache
disorder. This type of symptoms is one of the most dangerous because the amount of
toxic inside of the medicine can combine with the amount of caffeine. Which can
make people gets shock, cant breath and suddenly die. The ways to treat the rebound
headache such as follow the medicine instructions or the order from the doctor. Even
if, you are headache or painful use the medicine in the correct amount to cure your

pain and not use medicine too often except the doctor orders you to. At least, dont
mix paracetamol with any kind of drink that contain caffeine (Tepper, 2010).
Conclusion
The purpose of this research report was to identify the negative effects of
paracetamol. In conclusion, paracetamol have lots of negative effects to the user that
overuse it in the long period of time. Some people that overuse the paracetamol will
become addicted. It also causes liver damage and rebound headaches after use for a
long period of time. This medicine will directly happen with the people that addicted
to drug, have toxic metabolites, brain surgery and migraines. This research report
recommends further study on how to decrease pain with another type of medicines
that contain less negative effects to the human body.
