Case description
Writer was in search of tape deck cleaner &
decided to give preference to his near by shop.
In shop employees show casual approach and
they also dont know whether cleaner is
available or not .
He requested to avail from other store .
Manager enter to ensure first of all customer
should pay .

With implied consent customer departed .
Two work elapsed customer decided to revisit
the shop .
The cleaner had not yet arrived & sale person
also forgotten about the transaction .
Writer politely ask for refund .

Assumptions
In absence of data base as well as no regular analysis of stock
availability .
Poor skill of employee management, customer dealings, skills
and experience led to rise such circumstance .
Product may not be available in the market.
Sales person may be inexperience.
There may be chance of miss-communication.
There is lack of vision and mission in an organization.

First Solution
Installation of effective system for data base and intake
skilled and expereinced employees.

it would be fast, convenient , reliable and efficient .

*Demerits:

it would be costly and need trained and skilled employees.

Strong management and planning in the store
*merits:
It will act as balance desired output in economical condition
Effective decision making
Business credibility and it will enhance the reputation
*Demerits:
Delay in decision making
It will be slow, time consuming and not reliable

Leadership
the manager should lead the employees
*Merits:
Motivate other employees
Provide direction to work
*Demerits:
Conflict of interest
Lack of professionalism

Best solution
To maintain a
brand reputation
and sales the
service & system
need to be
upgraded and
employees must
be skilled,
trained and
conscious at
work under
effective
management.
