OBJECTIVES
My aim is to work in an organization with professional work driven environment where I can apply my
knowledge and skills to fulfill organizational goals while attaining proficiency in engineering of
structures.

SKILLS SUMMARY
I have one year of rigorous experience in a renowned consultancy firm Associated Consulting
Engineers (ACE). During my stay I took part in both hydropower and building projects including 4th
extension of Tarbela dam, Darul-khwar hydropower project and Walled city Lahore project. My
involvement in such versatile range of tasks not only equipped me with experience contract actual
and structural aspects of hydropower and building structures but also enriched me with relevant
technical depth, team management, critical decision-making and the confidence needed to work
independently, thereby fulfilling my aim of continuous professional growth.
Primary skills which I developed in my capacity of junior engineer include: complete acquaintance in
different components of hydropower structures; understanding of various contractual complicacies;
carrying out of coordination among the project stakeholders; and designing of tunnel using rock
classification methods.

WORK EXPERIENCE
Project Description and responsibilities
Junior engineer at Associated Consulting Engineers (ACE) (November 2013January 2015)

HYDROPOWER PROJECTS
1) 4th extension of TARBELA DAM.
2) Darul-khwar hydropower project
Responsibilities

Developed understanding of the components of hydropower such as headrace, penstock,

spiral shaft, powerhouse building and others.

Loading and Stability analysis of intake structure of the powerhouse of Tarbela hydropower
project.

Design of Darul-khwar tunnel by using rock classification methods.

BUILDING PROJECT
1) Walled city Lahore project
Responsibilities

Liaison with contractors to ensure that newly erected building structures are structurally
sound.

Generation of monthly progress reports.

Handle complaints from the client, and deal with any issues that may compromise the
project start and completion date

Drafting minutes of meetings conducted among Consultant-Contractor-Client.

Checking and comparison of requirements between project contract specification and site
work to identify and then rectify any deviation.

Ensuring liaison and supervision with Site Engineers to avoid any work conflict.

Following up with procurement department regarding material availability for design

purpose and attending meetings with suppliers/subcontractors to supervise compliance of
their work with design requirements.
