#1

Time

What Are You Doing?

5min

In a circle students enter one by one to ask the person in the

middle what are you doing they must answer with something
they are NOT acting out. Continue until everyone has gone at
least once.
Learning Activity
#2

Wimping

Explain that wimping is not accepting or blocking an

offer saying welllll maybe? I dunno.
Have them turn to a partner and practice a wimping
scene.
Tell them to talk about with their partners how it feels to
be part of a scene where your partner is wimping. Get
them to share.

Learning Activity
#3

Advancing

5min

10min

Explain that advancing is saying Yes, and!

As a group go around in a circle and have someone say
an offer and everyone says Yes, and!
Turn to a partner and engage in a scene where you offer
and the other says yes and! And adds their own offer.
Scenes should grow.
Talk with partner about how it feels to be in a scene
where your offers are validated and then added to.
Share with group.

Learning Activity
#4

Ding!

15min

Two players act out a scene but whenever the host doesn't like
what they say, he can call Ding! and make the characters
choose new words. The host can even choose to make the
players make different sounds or perform different actions.
Learning Activity
#5

Freeze

15min

Two players start a scene but at any point, one of the players
not in the scene can call freeze. At this point, that player swaps
places with one of the two players in the current scene and
starts an entirely new scene with the remaining player. Blind
Freeze is similar to Freeze except the players not in the scene
must face away from the scene in progress. The host is the one
who calls freeze and selects which player will be either inserted
into the new scene or simply added as a third (or fourth or fifth)
into the new scene.

Ninja Pose
Players stand in a circle and place their hands together, palm to palm, with
all fingers touching in the center.

Activity/Activities

The leader then counts down from three, and on three each player must
leap back and strike a ninja pose. Starting with the person to the leaders
left, and working clockwise, players take turns attacking an opponent. Using
one smooth motion, they attempt to tag another players hand with their
hand.
They must freeze in place once their attack is finished. Defending players
may dodge if they think they will be hit, but must also freeze once the
attack is finished. If the hand is hit, the player is out (Variation - two lives,
one for each hand. If a hand is tagged out, the player must keep it touching
the body and cannot use it to tag another player).
