In this paper, an assessment of my community I grew up in as analyzed and evaluated.
The analysis of my community entailed comparing the population rate from the time I lived there
with its present population total. Resources and city services were also analyzed and compared.
Before this assignment, I was not conscious of how the neighborhood I grew up in had changed
over time because I no longer live in that community. I found it helpful to see how communities
play an integral part in the success of people's lives. Social workers will need to assess the
community of their clients. This will allow them to gain a better understanding of the
background of your clients.
