DRIGGERS DAYS

We have very exciting news to share with you all! For many years, the Lord
has been drawing our hearts to youth ministry. Since returning to Papua New
Guinea (PNG), God has allowed Marty to be a part of the youth department
through youth outreaches and planning a mission trip. However, beginning
this month for at least six months God has provided Marty with the opportunity
to lead the department as the acting youth director. We are ecstatic about this
opportunity! How beautiful it is to see God confirm His calling on our lives
once again. We are passionate about serving the Lord to further Bible
translation in whatever way He allows, but seriously pumped about being a
significant part of the youth ministries department here in Ukarumpa.

DRIGGERS DAYS

As the youth director for grades 7-12, Marty, with the help of many
other volunteers, will be organizing: community groups (weekly small
groups), Soul Purpose (Sunday night worship / Bible study) and
Encounter (annual high school spiritual emphasis retreat).
Marty has also taken over managing the Auto Shop until the current
manager returns. He is a busy guy, and loving it!
Sara is thrilled to have one year as Teen Centre adult manager under
her belt and anticipating working with a fantastic team of teens this
fall. Handling rentals of the facility, repairs, and budgeting keeps her
busy during the school break.
All our girls finished the school year well. Taylor is a rising college
junior; Tia a college sophomore; Miriam a high school junior; and Jade
is now in sixth grade. We are so proud of each them.
Thank you for giving and praying to support the work we are doing
here in Papua New Guinea. We are deeply humbled by your
graciousness and Gods goodness!

We have been in PNG for almost one year; one third of our term!
Praise God for Martys new role as acting youth director.
Our debt with our organization has been completely satisfied.
Thanks to a very generous gift, Taylor and Tia will be visiting us in PNG for
Christmas!

Marty is currently managing three departments: the Auto Shop, the Fleet
and the Youth Ministry. His main focus will be with the youth. Please pray
for good time management and healthy work and family boundaries during
these busy times.
Once a year the high school students participate in a spiritual emphasis
retreat called Encounter. This years retreat will be held outside of
Ukarumpa. Please pray for us as we plan and coordinate all the details for
this event!
Wycliffe has updated our budget and we currently fall short by $476 each
month.
