To use PFT for Windows (TM) more effectively, please follow these
updated recommendations:

1. Different video settings may impact performance

We recommend that you don't use "Large fonts" video drivers with PFT
for Windows (TM) because it may slow program execution.
With some video boards the drag & drop icons look transparent if Windows
(TM) color setting is over 256 colors.
In some video boards the 1024 x 768 resolution causes ghost images to appear
in diagrams. In that case please change to a higher or lower resolution.

2. Program Manager is recommended if you run under Windows (TM)

We do not recommend using third party desktops with PFT for Windows (TM),
since there may be file related problems.

3. Different printer options will produce different looking printouts

To change printer options please choose Printer Setup (or Page Setup) under
File menu, and click the Options button. The following are recommended
printer options (if available on your printer), but you can try other
combinations for best print result:
-- Dots Per Inch: 600dpi
-- Graphics Mode: "HP-GL/2" or "Vector"
-- Graphics Quality: "High"
-- "Print TrueType as Graphics" should be ON (for "Raster" Mode)

4. "C:\DOS\SHARE.EXE" should be included in your AUTOEXEC.BAT file.

5. Plotters are not supported by PFT for Windows (TM) version 1.1b.

6. During spell check outlines will temporarily disappear, but they will
return when spell check is done.
