25t CAPACITY ROV SHACKLE

The Imenco ROV operated shackle is developed for safe and efficient
subsea connection and release of the shackle to Lifting Eyes, Master
Links or similar.
The shackle consist of three main parts: Main Body, Lock Pin Assy and ROV Grab ring.
The main body is machined in one piece from high strength stainless steel. The Lock Pin Assy
includes a spring loaded Shackle Pin protected inside a bolted housing, a Lock Plate and a
spring loaded Pin Retainer. The Lock Plate has two positions, unlocked (U) and Locked (L)
providing mechanical locking of the Shackle Pin.

2 step release operation:

Release the load and set the Lock Plate in “U” position
Pull the pin by U-strap- the Pin Retainer will then automatically lock the pin when fully retracted making
the shackle ready for new connection
2 step connecting operation:
Grab the ROV bar and enter the shackle fork over the lifting link eye pushing the Pin Retainer inwards
the Shackle Pin will then automatically engage
Secure the Shackle Pin by setting the Lock Plate in “L” position
