TUBERCULOSIS

Tuberculosis is a transmissible chronic bacterial infection which is most frequently

located in the lungs.

You have taken a MANTOUX test, with the following result: ................................
This indicates contact with the germ and rules out any other explanation of your illness.
You stand a 10-20 % risk of falling ill. You are therefore recommended to take the
following prophylaxis:

This treatment is liable to have side-effects. Please, therefore, be sure to undergo the
clinical and analytic checks indicated by your doctor.
Please inform your doctor if the medication brings on any of the following symptoms:
-Loss of appetite
-Exhaustion
-Dark-coloured urine
-Yellow skin
-Vomiting
-Reduced sensitivity
-'Going to sleep' in your extremities

La Tuberculosis es una infección bacteriana crónica transmisible cuya localización más
