 The roles of TPA

The roles of the association are to held and arrange events for the association and also
make decision about things that related about the journey of the association. Helping
students in their development and take care about the students welfare. The other roles is
to help the school organization financially and enhancing the facilities in this school. In
addition to that, the association also aids to the improvement of the school environment
to provide more conducive environment so that the school parties may have good lives in
school. On top of that other function of Parents- Teacher Association is to create a better
communication between school parties and the communities to further encourage their
participation in any of the school’s programs and activities in which may add up to a
closer relationship those parties.

Avtivities
The Parent-Teacher Association of Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Batu
Unjur has shown their activeness and good participation with the school. This
was proving by the activities that have been carried out togetherness with the
school organization throughout the year including curriculum, student affairs, co-
curriculum and others. Such activities held are the “Hari Pelanggan” which was
held recently on 26th June 2010, and school expediton to Kinabalu Mountain. On
the Other hand, the Parent-Teacher Association also has contributed in the Staff
Development Programmes in which some budgets were sponsored in order to
make those programmes successful. Those programmes were organized
smoothly. The Parent-Teacher Association has been very supportive and
collaborative which leads to the success of these activities.
