In the 29 February until 3
March the annual exhibition of
“XRUSOS-ASHMI” took place
in the eastern airport in the
Vouliagmenis Avenue. It has
been the 21st exhibition and it is
the biggest commercial event for
this sector. The exhibition was
sponsored by ΕΛ.ΚΑ. And it
constitutes the most important
factor for the annual enterprising
developments of the sector.
The report “GOLD-SILVER”
assembles each year very big
number of visitors, so much from
Greece but also from abroad,
such as Cyprus, Yugoslavia,
Russia, and turkey.
According to Mr. Kokkoris,
who had a stand in the exhibition
and is the owner and in charge

exhibition was very interesting,

with traditionally features.
Tourism is the main factor that
supports the Greek economy and
thus the jewels adopting the
Greek traditional element.
Despite the fact that the 21st
exhibition had a great success the
tradesmen hope that every year
would get better and better. The
exhibition should absorb more
people from the domestic market
and from abroad.
