incident/problem management requirements (L2 support Add / Remove Domain /
Domain Controllers, Trusts Administration, Sites And Subnets Administration Site Links

Global Catalog Servers,
Movement Of Users Between OU,
Organization Units Administration,
Group Policy Administration,
Implementation Of Group Policy, Domain Controller OS and Hardware
Administrating Server Performance, optimization and fine tuning
Checking the ADS health
Checking network health
Establishing VPN Connection, IP Security, Administering Terminal Services
Administering Certification Services
Administering DHCP
Implementing DNS Service
Implementing IIS Service,
Implementing RAS service
Implementing RADIUS Service
Setting up FTP Servers
Implementing IAS Service
Administrating IAS
Domain Controller issues to be resolved with in the time frame.
Resolve alerts indicating the following services are not running: FRS, Net Logon, KDC,
W32Time, and ISMSERV.
Administrating SYSVOL folder,
Resolve alerts indicating that the domain controller is not advertising itself,
Resolve alerts indicating time synchronization problems,
Administer Domain Controller Hardware Monitor overall services of Windows 2003 OS,
Monitor the network link between the sites and DCs,
Review the Duplicate Service Principal Name Report to list all security principals that
have a service principal name conflict.
Expert on different Wintel Technologies and OS related applications, resolves at least
80% of calls routed to him/her , without having to dispatch to service partners.
In-depth knowledge of troubleshooting on Wintel Plateform and knowledge of server
maintenance/configurations (Windows Server OS, VMware, Citrix,Novell).

Experience in handling Windows Server, Hardware & Networking and

should have experience in Providing L2 & L3 support.

System Admin should have the below skills:

Windows XP installation & troubleshooting
Handling backup of servers
Active Directory (AD) administration
DNS, DHCP, configuration & troubleshooting (Domain Name System &
Dynamic Host Control Protocol)
Installation & configuration of network, printers
File server, administration
RAID – configuration & troubleshooting (Renduded Array Integrated
Device)
LAN & WAN trouble shooting (Local Area Network & Wide Area
Network)
Good understanding of various connectivity options & troubleshooting
Worked on server class machines/storage
Proxy server administration
Good knowledge of VLAN, VPN & Citrix (Virtual Private Network)
Good knowledge of mail server (Exchange) administration
Good verbal & communication skills
To be Support & service oriented
Good Client interaction & relationship building capabilities

Network Engineer should have the below skills:

Configured Cisco Routers (2500, 1700, 2600) using RIP, IGRP, OSPF,
EIGRP
Planning and designing LAN/WAN networks & configuring Cisco
Routers, Routing Protocols
Managing security by Access-list on the routers
VLAN & Trunk configuration (ISL & IEEE 802.1Q)
Configuring & managing Leased Line, ISDN
Experience : 2 - 7 years
