harm as a direct result of a crime or
delinquent act.
MD ANN CODE, Criminal Procedure Article, §11-104 (a)

Purpose: Crime victims, their families and citizens will be provided the opportunity to voice opinions, suggestions and
concerns about crime victimization to state and local government representatives. The Town Hall Meeting will ensure that
your voice is heard and that government will listen.

Participants will each have 5 minutes to speak and address the panel of local and state representatives that work in the
criminal justice system or at an administrative level of services. The panel members will listen to the speakers. Citizens are
encouraged to sign up in advance or at the time of the event. Written and oral presentations are welcome.
