    Dear Sally,

    Please find enclosed a 3216 controller for repair under warranty. There seems to
    be a problem with the display as the LCD segments flicker and are difficult to read.
    Please note that the outer sleeve is from a different unit, I had built the faulty controller
    into some new equipment and when I discovered the display problem I just swapped the
    innards rather that disturb the wiring. Once repaired could you please return it to the
    above address at the University of Nottingham.
