How To Create Tree Structure In

Excel Spreadsheet

I want to maintain a list of accounts (Account 1 and Account 2). Each account has
three information, "Account No", "Account type" and "Location". For Account 1, I
have two locations and for account 2, I have two account types. So, the tree
structure would be something like
Account 1--
|-->Account No
|-->Account Type
|-->Location ---
|-> Location 1
|-> Location 2
Account 2 --
|->Account No
|->Account Type --
| |->Account Type 1
| |->Account Type 2
|->Location

STEP 1: Enter the data in the excel spreadsheet in the following way.

STEP 2: Select rows 4 - 9

STEP 7: Delete row 6. (You can also delete row 4 if you don’t want
the extra blank line)

STEP 8: This is the tree format for Account 1. You can collapse or
expand Account 1 by clicking on the “ – “ symbol

STEP 9: Repeat the same procedure for Account 2 (rows 10 – 15)
and also for “Account 1-> Location” (rows 7 – 9) and
“Account 2 -> Account Type” (rows 12 – 14)
