Enable Arabic on Windows Vista


1. To start, click on the Windows logo and then the Control Panel

2. In the Control Panel, click on Regional and Language Options

3. In the Regional and Language Options pop-up box, click on the Keyboards and Languages tab
4. Then click on the Change keyboards... button

5. Under 'Installed services', you should see the current languages and regions enabled on your
computer
6. Click on the Add... button

7. Under the Add Input Language pop-up box:


1. Scroll down the menu and double-click on Arabic (Egypt), and then on Keyboard and select
Arabic (101)
2. Then click OK

8. You should see Arabic appear under 'Installed services'


9. Now click on the Advanced Key Settings tab

10. Under 'Hot keys for input languages', you should see the key sequence to change from your
default language to Arabic
11. Optional: To change this sequence, click on the action and then on the Change Key Sequence...
button
