Test on Tuesday

Outline:
• about 6 questions (plus maybe a few short­answer)
• you will have some choice (probably can skip 1 or 2)
• you will have to solve SOME questions by hand 
(algebraically) and SOME questions by calculator
• in some cases, you will be given the equations; in some 
cases you will have to find the equations yourself and then 
solve.

 Assignment Reminders

• Your assignment is due Thursday.  Late assignments will 
not be accepted.  They will be returned, marked, on Monday 
so you can work on any issues before your test.
• Reminder ­­ you must solve each question algebraically 
AND with calculator.
• Reminder ­­ when solving with calculator, you must include 
a sketch of your graph showing the window settings the 
Samantha way
• Hand in your assignment: a) to the sub in class, b) if you 
don't trust the sub, come find me in Slot D or E (I'll be around 
in the afternoon).  DO NOT hand in your assignment to the 
office

• Wednesday night ­­ attempt 3­5 questions from page154­
155
• There will be a short quiz in class on Thursday (to prepare 
you for the test)
• Weekend homework ­­ Attempt all questions on pages 161 
to 163 (#1­10)

Monday's class, we will go over these questions and do any 
review.  Tuesday will be our Unit Test.  Fun, fun, fun.
