The Bangalore Canine Club is proud to announce that YOUNG
CANINE CLUB' - The Junior Wing of Bangalore Canine Club was
Inauguranted by Mr. S. Pathy, Chairman, Kennel club of India. The
Young Canine Club is being setup especially for young dog lovers
between the ages of 8-18 years and encourages interest in the
care, training and activities associated with dogs.

The Young canine Club (YCC) has the following aims :

l To educate young people in the care and training of dogs
l To develop courtesy, sportsmanship and self-discipline
l To encourage a sense of responsibility in dog ownership
l To enable young people to enjoy participation in and
management of all activities connected with dogs.
l To promote activities which fulfill the foregoing aims.

KNOW YOUR JUDGES
Mr. Mohammed Muneer Bin Jung
He has been a part of the KCI Dog Show Scene for the
past 38 years and it follows that, most of the fraternity
know him well. Past and present stalwarts admired his
skills and verve at handling dogs even at a very young
age, and predicted that in time to come he would mature
into a truly Dog Man 's 'Dog Man'.
They were very fond of him and forecasted wisely.But for
the benefit of our new enthusiasts a brief introduction to
him could be of interest.
His family Kennel PAIGAH'S consisted of over one
hundred and eighty dogs ,at most times. And, he has had
personal experience with 29 Breeds, covering all the
groups. From the age of six years old he has been winning achievements with all his
Breeds. He has travelled to most Canine Promoting Countries and has spent time
with world famous Kennels and thereby acquired valuable knowledge. It has been
his good fortune to have been tutored , guided and influenced by such famous
authorities as all the Indian Greats and Dr.Harold R Spira; Herr Erhard Thierolf; Herr
Walter Martin; Herr Herman Martin ;Dr.Ernest Beck; Mr Malcolm Griffith; Mr Bo
Nyman; Mr Sam Bonifacio;Mr David Roche; Mr.Mario P Magsaysay, and a lot of all
Breed Judges:and his best and dear friend Mr.Louis Donald from whom he acquired
a world of knowledge. But his greatest benefactor has been his father Nawab Nazeer
yar Jung who taught him from the very basics to the delicate finalities of
craftsmanship in Canine Interest.
He has an excellent eye for dogs and has hence owned an umpteen number of
beautiful dogs. His methods of upbringing young stock, their care, exercise ,
stretching, massage are exceptional and his art of handling is greatly admired
and talked about.
Mr. Javinder Singh Pawar
All Breeds Judge
His association with Show Dogs started in 1994 with
Dalmatians and Dobermans. His own kennel prefix,
“Jaspar” was registered in 1995.
In the next few years his Dobes went on to win some top
awards - the “Dog of the Year (B.I.)” in the year 1998-99
while “Jaspar Kennels” won the “Breeder of the Year”
award twice, in the years 1998-99 and 2000-01.
Around the same time he bred his first litter of English
Cocker Spaniels and in the next few years got in some
well known lines from overseas breeders. He had the pleasure of winning “Puppy of
the Year” in 2002 with an imported cocker bitch.
He has bred B.I.S. award winners in Dobermans, Cocker Spaniel and Dalmatians.
Over the years our breeding has won over 20 Best in Show awards, over 40 Best in
Show (B.I.) and over 20 Best Puppy in Show. he has won four BIS in National
Specialty Shows with his Dobermans.
He also has to his credit bred 5 Canadian Champion Dobermans with a Group winner
and Best Puppy in Show.
He has owned Dalmatians, Dobermans, Great Dane, Cocker Spaniel and Kerry Blue.
He currently owns many Dobermans and an Irish Setter.

Exhibitors are requested to Bench their dogs close to the ring
where the respective breeds would be judged.

Numbers will not be called over the public address system and
hence there would be no announcements. The club shall not be held
responsible if exhibitors are not present in the ring when their held

Creation of any sort of commotion or unpleasantness at the ring
side if a class is missed will automatically call for stringent action

3. ENFORCEMENT & AMENDMENT OF RULES

The decision of the Show Committee is final, subject onlyto appeal

to KCI, should any objections arise which are not provided for in the
final rules, the committee decision will be final. Any breach of the
Bangalore Canine Club, rules or KCI regulations will render the exhibitors liable to

 4. VET EXAMINATION: JUDGING METHOD

All Dogs must be passed by the Honorary Veterinary Surgeon, DOG CLASSES BITCH CLASSES
present at the gate and be certified fit by him before admission.

5.CHALLENGE CERTIFICATE:
CLASS WINNERS CLASS WINNERS
Challenge Certificates will be awarded at the Show (CC’s). All Indian
Breeds are eligible for CC’s as per KCI rules.

6. PENALTY: Class Winners compete

for CC (one for each sex) and RCC
(a) Any wilful misrepresentation regarding ownership, age, name, (awarded only if eligible)
pedigree, etc.

(b) Any dog entered and prepared for exhibition, in contravention of CC winners compete with Winners of Class M for BOB and
K.C.I. regulations, will be liable for disciplinary action by the RBOB
committee.

(c) Double Handling: As per the KCI directive double handling is BOB and RBOB winners of group compete for Group
strictly prohibited. Any exhibit double handled is liable to be Winner, Group Runner Up and Group 2nd Runner Up
disqualified from the show.

7. OBJECTIONS: First three dogs of Working, Gundog and Hound Groups:

DEFINITIONS OF CLASSES
MINOR PUPPY CLASS is one in which dogs that are 4 months
of age and not exceeding 6 months.
PUPPY CLASS is one in which dogs that are 6 months and
above and not exceeding 12 months.
JUNIOR CLASS is one in which dogs that are 12 months and
above and not exceeding 18 months.
INTERMEDIATE CLASS is one in which dogs that are 18 months
and above and not exceeding 36 months.
BRED IN INDIA CLASS is a class in which only dogs bred in
India shall be eligible. Dogs bred abroad and born in India are
deemed to be imported dogs under the KCI regulation.
OPEN CLASS is one in which dogs of that breed or variety of
breed may compete.
CHAMPIONSHIP CLASS
All dogs that have attained their championship title on the day of
sending in the entry forms, irrespective of whether they have
applied for the Championship title or not, must be necessarily
entered only in CLASS M (Champion Class irrespective of sex).
Entry of Champion in any other class will amount to
misrepresentation and the dog will automatically be disqualified
from the show.
