INTRODUCTION & WORKING PRINCIPLES

1) Vibro Sifter is a self-contained unit ideally suited for sieving dry, wet
powders, Granules etc. We are manufactured in 12”, 20” Dia., 30” Dia., 36” Dia. &
48” Dia. in single as well as multiple deck arrangements.

2) It uses principle of powder trumbling and interacting because of specially

designed vibrating motor with adjustable petals directly mounted on a top plate,
which is rested on spring pad to achieve continuous vibrations. The vibrating energy
screen unit consisting of circular pretightened screen causes vibration in the vertical
tangetical axis and top petals causes vibration in the horizontal plain to move the
material across the screen towards the discharge spot.

3) The time required for screening the powder of each batch is to be

established by trial depend on the mesh used, but keeping upper limit of 250 Kgs./hr.
2, 3 Decks may be provided for differential screening of powder.

All contact parts of machine are made of stainless steel 316 quality depending upon
requirement.

INSTALLATION OF MACHINE

The machine is made out of self-contained cylindrical ring frame.

1) Ensure that the frame is perfectly level.

2) Connect 3 Phase AC, 415 V, 50 cycle electric supply through a suitable

isolator & starter.

3) Tighten all nuts and bolts (there is possibility of their getting loosened
during transportation)

4) Ensure effective earthing to the equipment.

5) Electrical:
i) All the electrical connections should be tightened and properly
connected.
ii) Motor connections should be maintained to give clockwise rotation.

6) Charge the material in to the screen for screening.

7) Run the machine for desired screening time to be established on trial.

CAUTION:

Insulate all electrical switches before cleaning / removing the screen.

DESCRIPTION OF MACHINE

1) The machine consists of S.S. fabricated cylindrical type ring of stainless steel
304 quality.
2) Specially designed springs 8 Nos. for resting screen holder unit duly covered
with S.S.
3) Centrally located special vibrating motor with petals assembled on both sides.
4) Motor mounted on circular ring.
5) Conical shape bottom deck.
6) Screen holder frame.
7) Middle deck, top deck & dust cover.

ANGLES CAN BE ADJUSTED BY THE FOLLOWING METHOD

1. Shut off motor and lock the starter in the OFF position
2. When vibration stops, open access door is base.
3. Release bottom weight clamp bolt nut so that motor shaft is free to turn
Independently of the weight.
4. Rotate motor shaft by turning lead indicator washer until the desired
degree of lead as indicated on the scale of the washer, is in line with the
clamp slot of the bottom weight.
5. Tighten the bottom weight clamps nut fully.
6. Close access door and start Vibroscreen.

ADVANTAGE OF VIBRO SIFTER OVER MECHANICAL SIFTER

1. Simple in construction. Simple to maintain.

2. No rubber parts and hence minimum maintenance.
3. 20 to 30% extra output as compared to mechanical sifter.
4. Modular designed i.e. you can add additional decks at any time.
5. The intensity of vibration can be changed by adjusting eccentric weight.
6. Newly designed low cost spare sieves, similar to Mechanical sifter sieves.
7. Can be supplied up to 48” i.e. 1200mm Dia while mechanical sifters are
normally not manufacture over 30” i.e.750mm Dia.
