In Afghan fields the poppies grow

Between our heroes row on row
Side by side our allies stand;
To defend our soil, our beloved home land

Remember today; remember the pain

Remember the child who believed in life’s gain
Remember the child that played in the fields
Remember the man that wept in the fields

Hail to our children that we bring home

Woefully saluted in memoriam grand
Bow to remember those who believe in our land
For they selflessly stand to our freedom command
