About BBA
The BBA in Tourism and Hospitality Management is a 4 Year
Full Time Integrated Programme affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru
Technological University (JNTU-H) consisting of Eight Semesters
(08) with 10 months of industrial exposure training. This Course
is offered exclusively by NITHM at its campus in Hyderabad .
The course curriculum and syllabus is based on inputs from
disciplines of Tourism, Travel, Hospitality & General
Management required for Under Graduates and adopted by
JNTU-H.
Classes in BBA program in Tourism & Hospitality Management
are designed to develop students' ability to apply business
strategies to hospitality industry-specific situations. Courses
include: Food production, Food Science & Nutrition, Financial,
Travel & Hospitality Accounting, Travel Agency & Tour
Operations, Food & Beverage Service Operation, Cultural
Heritage, Tourism Geography, Communication, Leisure and
Recreation, Tour Guide and Escort Services, Human Resource
and Behaviorial Issues, Hotel & Business Laws & Research
Project Design and Methodology.

Eligibility Criteria for BBA (T&H) Programme
Intermediate or equivalent (10+2 stream) with 50% marks in
aggregate (45% for SC/ST Candidates). Reservation: SC 15%,
ST 6%, Physically Handicapped 3%, BC as per AP Govt. norms
as on date of interview, 1/3 seats for women students. A few
seats are earmarked for foreign candidates and those
sponsored by Industry, NRI's and Entrepreneurs. Written test and
counseling for Admissions will be conducted at NITHM. Foreign
students have to route their applications through MHRD
(Ministry of Human Resources Development, Govt. of India,
New Delhi) or ICCR (Indian Council for Cultural Relations, New
Delhi).
Age Limit
Candidates from General, OBC and Physically Handicapped
categories upper age limit is 22 years at the date of submission
of application. In the case of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled
Tribe candidates upper age limit is 25 years at the date of
submission of application. During selection procedure relevant
certificate must be produced in original as a proof of age.
Physical Fitness
All qualified candidates will have to submit a physical fitness
certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner at the time of
admission.
