Creating a digital Story using MS Photostory 3

Open MS Photostory 3

Click on begin a new story

Click on next

Click on import pictures

Select the pictures you want to

import. You may select more than

one picture at a time


The pictures can be moved in order

to rearrange the sequence or they

can be deleted

All the pictures you have selected will appear in this bottom pane

If you have other pictures located in a different folder, you may

import more pictures by clicking on import pictures again.

Used to rotate picture or crop it to a


different size

Used to correct contrast, color


levels and red eye

Used to add effects to the picture


such as black and white or sepia
tone

Click on edit tab if you need to


make corrections to the picture
Add a title to your presentation if you

want to. Position the title, change

font size, color and style.

Narrate your presentation. Using your

microphone, click on the red button to record.

Type in the text you want to say to help prompt

you while recording. Click on each slide as you

record. When complete, click on black button.

Click preview to review the recording.

Click on customize motion to input transitions

when moving from one picture to the next.

Preview your slide transitions after selecting.


You may select music

to import into your

story.

Example: P drive has

Soundzabound folder

(royalty free music). You can input music from different genres,

styles, bands and moods. The tempo and

intensity may also be adjusted.

You can have different music for each slide if you like

or you can play the same song throughout the presentation.

Click on the slide you want to have music and select tab.
You will save the story you have created. Determine where you want to save the file and under what
name. Click next. Your story will be saved.
