Applications are invited in the prescribed form for admission to MBBS Course of
AIIMS commencing on 1st August 2006. Entrance Examination will be held on
01.06.2006(Thursday). Application forms, complete in all respects, must reach
AIIMS, New Delhi latest by 5.00 P.M on 24.02.2006.
Eligibility:
Candidates who have passed 12th class examination under 10+2 system or on
equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English securing a
minimum of 60% marks(50% in case of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe
candidates) in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English or whose results of
class-XII are likely to be declared by mid July, 2006 are eligible to apply. The
candidate should have attained the age of 17(seventeen) years as on 31st
December, 2006.

Eligibility: He/She should have passed Higher/ Sr. Secondary Examination with
Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Minimum percentage of marks taken together in
Physics, Chemistry, and Biology is 50% in case of General category and 40% for
ST, SC or OBC. Those appearing in the qualifying examination prior to the
competitive test or whose result is awaited can also apply.
The Preliminary Examination consists of one paper containing 200 objective type
questions. The duration of paper would be 3 hours. Those who qualify in the
Preliminary Examination are eligible to appear in the Final examination.
The Final Examination consists of two papers each of 2 hours duration. Paper-1
contains questions from Physics and Chemistry and Paper-2 contains from Biology
(Botany & Zoology) and will have conventional (non- objective) type of question.
Candidates can option for Question Papers either in English or in Hindi.
Eligibility:
For MBBS/BDS - Passed/ appeared in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology
(including practicals)
For B. Pharma - Passed/appeared in 10+2 with Physics Chemistry, Biology (as
optional) from the Board of Intermediate Educations, AP or equivalent. Medical
fitness of the candidates is required.
Pattern of Test: The questions consist of Physics, Chemistry and Biology and
are of objective type (Multiple choice). Candidates are required to obtain 30%
marks to qualify the test. The question papers are set in English/Telugu.
Candidates opting to write the entrance test in Urdu are allotted Centre at
Hyderabad.
Admission to 51/2 year MBBS (including internship) and 5-year BDS (including
internship) in 3 Medical and one Dental College is made through a State Level
Admission Test.
Eligibility: He/she should have passed 10+2 with English, Physics, Chemistry and
Biology with 50% aggregate marks (for ST/SC 40%) in one sitting. Medical fitness

is also required.
Pattern of Test: Test is conducted in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and
Zoology. Each of the three papers is of 300 marks. It is of 10+2 standard and
based on the syllabus prescribed by the Assam Hr. Sec. Education Council. No test
is held for the nominated candidates and candidates who are within the first ten
position in the qualifying exam. Of the Assam Hr. Sec. Education Council, having at
least 75% aggregate marks in PCB.
Pattern of Test: The test consists of objective type questions in Physics, Chemistry and
Biology. Selection is made on the basis of merit in the Common Entrance Exam (CET).
Pattern of Test: The test consists of one paper of 3 hours duration. The paper
consists of 200 questions, 50 on each subject Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and
Botany. Each test is of objective type. Each item carries 4 marks. The total mark of
Paper is 800. For each correct response, the candidate gets 4 marks. For each
incorrect response, one mark is deducted from the total score.

Eligibility: Passed 10+2 with 50% aggregate marks in PCB and also with English as
a subject (40% marks for SC/ST candidates)
Eligibility: The candidate should have passed 10+2 or qualifying examination with
Physics, Chemistry and Biology with 50% marks in aggregate (40% marks for
SC/ST) provided. The candidate has qualified the subject English as an elective
subject. The candidates who have appeared in the qualifying examination are also
eligible to apply. Medical fitness is also required.
Pattern of Test: The entrance test consists of objective type questions Physics,
Chemistry (including Organic Chemistry) and Biology. The medium of Exam is
English. Selection is based on merit obtained in the Common Entrance Test.
Application Procedure: Application forms and further details can be had from
the Assistant Registrar (entrance Test) of the University or the concerned college
Principals.
Eligibility: 10+2/Pre-Medical with PCB and English with 50% marks (40% in case of
SC/ST) in aggregate. Or 50% aggregate marks in BSc/BVSc./BSc (Nursing).
Medically fit is also required.
Eligibility: 10+2 with English, PCB with 50% (40% for SC Gujjar & Bakawal and
those from Leh and Kargil areas) aggregate marks in theory paper only. Those
awaiting results may also apply. Medical fitness is also necessary.
Pattern of Test: Selection is made on the basis of the merit in Entrance Exam.
The test is of 11/2 hours duration in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
Eligibility:
For Medical/Dental/Ayurveda/Homoeopathy/Unani/Naturopathy & Yoga courses the
Candidate must have passed Karnataka 2nd PUC/ 12th Std. Or equivalent
examination with Physics, Chemistry & Biology as optional subjects with English as
one of the languages of study and obtained at least 50% in the PCB group provided

Pattern of Test: A student should compulsorily appear for PCB for MBBS/BDS

I and II PUC syllabi prescribed by the Department of Pre-University Education,
Karnataka State.

Eligibility: The candidates must have passed/appeared in the HSC exam. With
English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) or equivalent exam from
an institution situated in the state of Maharashtra with minimum 50% marks in
Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the HSC (or equivalent)
examination. They should also be medically fit.
Pattern of Test: The MHT-CET consists of three objective type question papers
each of 100 marks: Paper- I:- Physics & Chemistry (50 marks each) Paper II:-
Biology (Botany & Zoology (50 marks each). Paper III:- Mathematics (100 marks).
Duration of each paper is 11/2 hours. The syllabus of the examination is same as
that of the HSC examination of HSC Board of Maharashtra. The medium for

examination is either English, Marathi or Urdu for Physics, Chemistry and Biology and
English only for Mathematics. Selection is made on the basis of marks obtained in
the qualifying exam. and Common Entrance Test.
17.Armed Forces Medical College
Pattern of Test: Candidates are required to appear in the All India Competitive
written test of 2 hrs. duration in subjects of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Intelligence,
Logic, Reasoning and English language. Each part comprises of 50 questions of 1
mark each. Std. of the Examination is that of 11th and 12th std. under the 10+2
Scheme/Pre-medical/Isc. or an equivalent examination of an Indian University.
Based on the performance in the written test selected candidates are called for
interview in the month of June at Pune.
Eligibility: Passed the Higher Secondary Certificate Exam. (HSC) with at least 50%
marks in PCB (40% for SC/ST and pass in English)
Pattern of Test: There is one question paper contains 200 multiple choice
objective type questions, 50 each on Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology.
Application Procedure: Application form and other details can be had from the
Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune.
Eligibility: 12th Std. under 10+2 system of Maharashtra State Hr. Sr. Education
Board or any equivalent exam. with English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology individually
and must have obtained a minimum of 50 % marks (40% in case of SC and ST
including VJ & Nomadic Tribes and OBC).
Candidates appearing in 10+2 exam in March/April are also eligible to sit in the all
India Competitive Entrance Examination.
Pattern of Test: The examination is of objective type and the papers of PCB are
having multiple-choice questions and paper of Gandhian Thought is of essay and/or
short answer type. The final selection is made on the basis of merit in the Entrance
Examination.

Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), Govt of Pondicherry conducts JET for admission to
MBBS, BD, B. Pharma, B.Sc. Nursing & BPT at the following Government sponsored
colleges.

course or Chemistry, Foundation Scs. and Nursing course) along with English as one
of the subjects and 50% marks in aggregate( a mere pass for SC/ST candidates).
For B.Sc. Nursing, BPT and B.Sc. MLT: 10+2 (Academic/ Vocational) or
equivalent exam. with PCB/Botany and Zoology.(for Vocational stream – Phy.,
Foundation Scs. and Medical Lab. Assistant course or Chemistry, Foundation Scs. and
Nursing course) along with English and 50% marks in aggregate( 40% SC/ST /OBC).
Pattern of Test: JET consists of 3 papers, each of 2 hours duration. Paper-I: Maths,
Paper-II- Physical Scs, Paper-III Bio.
Date of Examination: May.
Eligibility: Passed Sr. Sec. exam. securing at least 50% (for SC/ST 45%) aggregate
marks in PCB and English taken together or Pre-professional/pre-medical
examination with PCB after 12th exam. Those awaiting the result of qualifying exam
may also apply. Medical fitness is also necessary.
Eligibility: Passed 10+2 with PCB and English with a minimum score of 50% marks
(45% marks for SC/ST/BC candidates).
Eligibility: Sr. Sec (10+2) with Eng. PCB or B.Sc. degree holders with Physics.
Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. Medical fitness is required.
Pattern of Test: Pre-Medical Test (PMT) which consists of objective type questions
in Physics, Chemistry, Biology. Questions are both in Hindi and English. Selection is
based on the merit in the entrance test.
Eligibility: Passed 12th or equivalent exam. and those who are going to appear for
such qualifying examination during March-April can apply.
Pattern of Test: Entrance examination is based only on the Syllabi and textbooks
prescribed for the second year of the Tamil Nadu State Board of Higher Secondary
Courses.
Eligibility: Passed HSC (Academic), Examination with Biology or Botany & Zoology,
Physics and Chemistry. Candidates who are appearing in HSC or equivalent

qualifying examinations during Mach- May are eligible to apply for the entrance
examination.
Pattern of Test:
The Entrance Examination is conducted in the following subjects:
Paper -1: Biology (Botany & Zoology).

Government of West Bengal offers admission to the first year of the undergraduate
courses: MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS/BUMS/B.Sc. Physiotherapy on the basis of a Joint
Entrance Examination (JEE), which is conducted by the West Bengal Board of

Eligibility:
For MBBS/BDS: Those who have passed/appeared, High Secondary (10+2) or
equivalent examination conducted by any Govt. recognized Board/Council, with
English, Vernacular (or any other fifth subject), Physics, Chemistry and Biological

MODE OF ADMISSION
The entrance exam for the MBBS program is to be held on the 30 th July
2006 at our centers at Agartala/Delhi/Chennai/Lucknow/Guwahati.
HOW TO APPLY
The application forms can be downloaded from our website,
www.trimedcol.com or collected directly form our officers. The filled-in forms
should reach our offices mentioned below on or before 26 th July 2006 with a
DD for Rs. 1100 drawn in favour of Global Educational Net, payable at
Agartala/Cochin/Delhi.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or before 30 th June 1989
( at least 17 years of age as on 30 th June 2006). The candidate must be
have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of its equivalent
examination. Candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics,
Chemistry and Biology at the qualifying examination. These stipulated by the
MCI in their regulations for medical colleges.

Application are invited for admission to the MBBS course at Armed Forces Medical
College (AFMC), Pune, commencing from 01 Aug 2006. Total 130 candidates
(including a maximum of 25 girls) will be selected. All the 105 boys and 25 girls
admitted to Armed Forces Medical College, Pune have compulsory liability to serve
as a commissioned officers in the Armed Forces Medical Services on graduation. The
type of commission will depend upon the vacancies available and merit-cum-option at
the final MBBS examination. The liability of the SSC officers passing out of AFMC to
serve the Armed Forces Medical Services would be seven (7) years. All candidates

admitted to the college are required to execute a bond to this effect for an amount of
Rs.15 lacs( Rupees Fifteen lacs) at the time of joining the college. Students removes
from service liability due to any reason will have to pay the bond money as per
conditions laid down by Govt. of India.
Ten seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe candidates who
also have similar service liability and have to fulfill the requirements of medical
fitness, age, educational qualification and qualifying the entrance examination, as
per details given in the prospectus.
Special Concessions: The Govt. will provide free accommodation and entitled
rations, subsidised messing, second class railway fare from college to home and
back during vacations, a book subsidy of Rs. 8,000/- during entire training period,
uniform allowance of Rs.2500/- per student during first year and Rs. 500 /- per year
for maintenance allowance in subsequent years and any other misc. allowances as
applicable.
All candidates should be medically fit as per laid down standards for the Armed

5. Only unmarried candidates are eligible, marriage during the course is not
permitted. The college is fully residential both for boys and girls.
Educational Qualifications: Applicants must have passed the 12th standard/ pre-
professional/ premedical examination or equivalent examination of statutory
Indian University/ Board or any other recognized Board/ University as a regular
student in all the subjects opted for in First Attempt with the subjects of English,

Three in-service doctors from the State, who had applied for
selection to postgraduate superspeciality course in medical
sciences, have challenged the selection of Jayashree Kharge,
daughter of senior Congress leader and MLA, M. Mallikarjun
Kharge for DM (superspeciality) course in cardiology. Two
petitions challenging the selection of Ms. Jayashree to the
superspeciality course came up before the High Court of
Karnataka on Tuesday and Justice B.S. Patil ordered issue of
emergent notices and adjourned further hearing in the cases.
