Millrace Residents Association shall have the following officers who will attend at regular
committee meetings:
A particular resident/committee member will have responsibility for given tasks, but
may enlist help from others to do some of the work. It is likely that one person may
hold more than one position, and that other tasks will be done by groups of people.

Deputy Chairperson
The Main role of the Deputy Chairperson is to deputise for the Chairperson when the
Chairperson is not available.

Neighbourhood Watch Liaison Officer
If an Officer wishes to resign, s/he shall give written notice to the Chairperson and at the
next committee meeting her/his office shall terminate. The management committee has
the power to co-opt a replacement officer until the next AGM.
Nominations for officers should be made to the Chairperson at the Annual General
Meeting. The election of officers will take place at the AGM. Two nominations are
required for a candidate and the election shall be by simple majority.
