The SWOT analysis is an extremely useful tool for understanding and decision-making
for all sorts of situations in business and organizations.

Strengths:- Internal positive aspects that are under control and upon which
you may capitalize in planning

Weaknesses:- Internal negative aspects that are under your control and that
you may plan to improve

Opportunities:-Positive external conditions that you do not control but of


which you can plan to take advantage
 
Threats:- Negative external conditions that you do not control but the
effect of which you may be able to lessen
Strength:-
A) Basic strengths
1. Strong engineering fundamentals.
2. Good GD & T knowledge.
3. Multiskiling :- Worked for kinematics project.

B) Past experience:-
4. Part communization.
5. Concept preparation for parts/ features by considering….
• Functional requirements of parts,
• Strength requirements of parts,
• Tooling feasibility,
• Package constrains.
6. Fixture design :- high level of complexity.
7. Good catia V5 Part modeling skill.
8. Good communication skill:- experience to work with onsite overseas customers.
9. Good & excellent feed back from overseas customer.
10. Awarded by previous employer for commitment & excellent work.

Weaknesses:-
Moderate Catia V5 surfacing skill :- Ideas, tricks developed for self
improvement, communicated with colleagues to judge effectiveness of the
ideas & tricks.

Opportunities:-
1) Wealing to gain complete product knowledge.
2) Exposure to work with overseas customers for design, knowledge
sharing.

Threats:-
1) lowering of efficiency if placed in a unexpertise area.
2) Reduction in billing hours, loss of profit.
3) KPA:- lowered score.
