Castrol Rustilo DWX 32

Description
A high quality soft film rust preventive which, on evaporation of the solvent,
leaves a powerful protective film. Also possesses good water displacement
properties.

Film Characteristics
Soft greasy.

Recommended Applications
Intended for severe conditions and is classified as a medium to long term
protective. Recommended for the treatment prior to storage of valuable
machine tools and for tools for factory stores or shops. Suitable for camshafts,
crankshafts, circular saws, large gears, exposed sliding surfaces of lathe beds,
etc.

Method Of Use
Preferably by immersion but where impractical the fluid may be applied by
brushing or spraying.

Protection
Indoors - 18 months
Outdoors - 9 months

The period specified for outdoor use assumes primary protection from the
elements by tarpaulin or another form of cover.

Removal
Petroleum solvents or by suitable alkaline cleaning.

Advantages
Most popular grade where high degree of protection is required. The product's
soft tenacious film is based on a new corrosion inhibitor which affords excellent
protection and can be easily removed by conventional methods when required.
